Browser extension
Zia's Simple Video Speed Adjuster
The extension examines video elements, their playback state and visibility on the page so it can place speed controls. This processing takes place in your browser. The packaged extension does not send page URLs, page content, or playback information to us. It does not include advertising or analytics code.
A session-storage flag on the current website remembers whether you have used the shortcut hints; it contains no video title or URL. Public builds do not retain the developer diagnostic ring or mirror. Brief console messages contain playback state and failure information without a retained browsing log. Your browser may preserve console output if you explicitly enable that browser feature.
The website you visit and its video provider continue to handle their own traffic under their policies. Closing the tab ends the ordinary page session; browser session-restore behavior may preserve session storage. Remove the extension to stop its operation, and clear site data to remove the hint flag.
